Russia claims its military has destroyed 700 military targets in Ukraine
Spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, General Igor Konashenkov, said Russian missiles and artillery hit about 700 Ukrainian military targets over the past day, targeting command centers, troops and ammunition depots.
He said the missiles fired from the air hit three command points, 13 areas where troops and Ukrainian military equipment were stored, as well as four ammunition depots in Donbas.
Konashenkov said that in the southern Ukrainian region of Nikolaev, Russian missiles hit a mobile anti-drone system near the Hanivka settlement, about 100 km northeast of the city of Nikolaev.
- Missiles and artillery hit 583 areas where troops and Ukrainian military equipment were concentrated, 41 checkpoints, 76 artillery and mortar units at firing positions, including three Grad batteries, as well as the Ukrainian electronic warfare station Bukovel near Hanivka settlement, Konashenkov said.
He added that since the beginning of the special military operation, as the Russians call the invasion of Ukraine, Russian forces have destroyed 174 planes, 125 helicopters, 977 drones, 317 air defense missile systems, 3.198 tanks and other armored combat vehicles and 408 multi-barrel missiles. .
