Russia claims to have sunk the last Ukrainian warship
The Ministry of Defense of Russia announced that the last warship of Ukraine was destroyed today in a Russian missile attack.
"The last warship of the Ukrainian Navy, Yury Olefirenko, has been destroyed in the military part of the port in Odessa," said the spokesman of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, at a regular press briefing, reports Reuters.
Konashenkov said that this Ukrainian warship was hit by a "high precision" weapon, but did not give further details.
Ukrainian Navy spokesman Oleh Chalik said he would not comment on any Russian claims.
"The Ukrainian Navy will not reveal any information about its losses during the war," Chalyk added.
