The Ukrainian nuclear power plant Zaporozhye, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, was shelled today, reported the Russian state news agency Tass.

It is added that the grenades were fired from Ukraine and fell near a dry warehouse and that no radioactive emissions were detected.

Renat Karcha, an adviser at Russian nuclear power operator Rosenergoatom, said 15 shells were fired at the plant's facilities. At the same time, an official Kyiv debunked Russia's claims that the Ukrainians attacked the nuclear plant in Zaporozhye.
