The head of Russia's foreign intelligence service (SVR) Sergey Naryshkin said today that Russia is close to achieving its goals in Ukraine, and Moscow, he said, has the strategic initiative in all areas of the war.

Naryshkin added that for Russia, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has lost his legitimacy and "ability to negotiate".
