
Russia attacked Kyiv during British Prime Minister Starmer's visit
Ukrainian air defense units (ADF) operated over the center of Kiev today, and explosions echoed throughout the Ukrainian capital.

"Air defense forces are operating in the center of the capital. Stay in shelters," Klitschko wrote on his Telegram channel.
Ukrinform reported that an air safety alert has been declared in Kyiv and other regions of the country.
Reuters reports eyewitness reports of explosions heard during British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's visit to the Ukrainian capital and that air defense forces are trying to repel the attack by Russian drones.
It is reported that city authorities announced that there were no casualties in this attack, and a car hit by drone debris was damaged in one of the Kiev neighborhoods.

Before the visit, Zelensky indicated that he would use the meeting with Starmer to discuss the chances of British troops being deployed to Ukraine as peacekeepers after any ceasefire agreement with the Kremlin.
Russia has been launching drones at targets across Ukraine on a daily basis. The Ukrainian Air Force said today that 34 drones out of 55 launched by Russian forces were shot down last night, with 18 missing their targets.
