On October 2, we will hold extraordinary parliamentary elections, and that is the main task before the transitional government – ​​their organization and implementation. This was stated by the Bulgarian president today Rumen Radev at the meeting with the representatives of the institutions responsible for the preparation and implementation of the vote.

"It is of great importance for all of us that these elections bring a stable and responsible ruling majority that will tackle urgent reforms and make strategic decisions for our country. "It is also important that this majority enjoys high legitimacy that results from the high voter turnout," stressed Radev.

According to him, high turnout requires a high commitment of the parties and candidates for deputies with clear programs and messages to attract voters, but also responsible work of the election administration and the state, which will give confidence in the transparency, honesty and accessibility of the election process.
