The Brazilian Ronaldinho left a deep mark wearing the Barcelona jersey, and it was during the period in 2005 when he was part of the Catalan giant that his son was born Joao Mendes.

Today the famous Brazilian confirmed that his son has signed a contract with Barcelona and will be part of the academy of the giant from Catalonia.

"I can confirm that Barcelona have signed a contract with Joao. "The period in Barcelona will forever remain a part of my heart, and now it continues with my son," said Ronaldinho.

The Brazilian made the statement to the media during his visit to Spain, where he will attend a "Mundo Deportivo" ceremony. Joao plays as a striker and it remains to be seen how he will perform in Barcelona.
