Romania warns of a violation of the airspace near the border with Ukraine

Romania, which is a member of NATO, informs that there is a possibility of violation of its airspace during the night attacks of Russia, on the infrastructure in the Danube region in neighboring Ukraine.
After pulling out in July from an agreement on Ukrainian grain exports via the Black Sea, Russia has stepped up its attacks on the Odesa and Mykolaiv districts, where key grain export infrastructure is located in southern Ukraine.
The Romanian Ministry of Defense said that during the night a group of drones was detected moving towards Ukrainian territory near the border with Romania.
"The radar surveillance system showed a possible unauthorized intrusion into the national airspace, where the signal was detected on the road leading to the town of Galac on the border itself," the statement said.
So far, there is no information that anything has fallen on the territory of Romania.
