Quality and constant, simple and professional communication that instills confidence and motivates cooperation and mutual interest will contribute to success in student development.

Lately, education policy requires parents to be partners, to be involved in decision-making in schools regarding the upbringing and education of children. Continuous cooperation in the parent-teacher relationship is very important, because it contributes to the proper development of the student's personality. Starting, building and maintaining collaboration is a challenge for every teacher, especially with the beginning of each new generation of students and parents, where the teacher goes through the same process of building and maintaining collaboration with parents, in ways that he can, using experience, skill, different means and forms of cooperation.

The parent is the "teacher" in the child's life. He is the person who teaches the child the first habits and values, brings him up, educates him. But, over time, the child faces a new environment - kindergarten, school, where the educational component continues. Family upbringing does not end here, but, on the contrary, it should continue, to be supplemented in the educational institutions. The school is the second home.

In the school environment the child is in an environment unknown to him and the teacher is the one who introduces him, socializes him, directs him, adapts him to the new environment, establishes rules and habits. The influence of the teacher is especially important in the development of the student's personality, in the development of his intellect, emotions and social skills, and all this affects the overall life of the student. Hence the need for intensive cooperation and communication of teacher-parent. Therefore, it is necessary to exchange information, participation of parents in various activities, meetings, workshops, extracurricular activities, involvement in the governing bodies, participation in the development planning of the school.

Cooperation between teacher and parent is of great importance for many reasons. If the teacher has good cooperation with the parents in the class, it gives encouragement and motivation to the teacher that he is on the right path in building the child's personality. Continuity is ensured in the joint upbringing of the child. Often, it is the teacher who points out some behavior of the child that the parent does not notice or does not want to notice. In this case, the teacher needs to know how to convey what he wants to say to the parent.

In my opinion, from my experience so far, the "sandwich technique" has proven to be the best, where the parent is good to hear positive things about his child, and then to say what you plan to convey in terms of some improvement of the student, regardless of whether is it of an educational or educational nature and to end again with a positive thought and comment about the student. No matter how complex communication may be, we should always keep in mind our personal integrity and dignity, without crossing the boundaries of decency.

The most important reason why there should be cooperation between teachers and parents is the common task that both parties have, and that is the care, upbringing, education of the child, getting the best out of each child. To achieve this cooperation is not always easy, but teachers need to possess skills, empathy, tact, patience, perseverance, perseverance, experience to achieve this goal. Above all, a relationship of trust and mutual respect should be built. Quality and constant, simple and professional communication that instills confidence and motivates cooperation and mutual interest will contribute to success in student development. If this is achieved, the interests of both parties can be met. Therefore, parents, be allies, partners with teachers.
