The initial results of the two external exams from this year's state matriculation exam have been sent to the schools, and the State Examination Center (DIC) announced them at noon today, and every candidate can see their results electronically by signing up at http://rezultati.dic.edu.mk.

"The average grade of the external exams from the preliminary results is 3,78 and is higher compared to last year when it was 3,61," informed DIC, which announces the results 12 days earlier than the legal deadline.

A period of objections is coming - as of July 5, students can file objections in schools. DIC will announce the results of the objections on July 11. The inspection of the tests in person by the candidates will be on July 13 in the DIC with prior notice and appointment by phone on July 12.

For additional information, high school graduates can be informed by the school graduation committees in their schools and at www.matura.gov.mk.

This year's state graduation was realized in accordance with the agreement with high school students, that is, two external, two internal subjects and a project assignment and shortened exam programs.

The candidates took the first external and mandatory exam - Mother tongue and literature (Macedonian, Albanian or Turkish) on June 4, and on June 13 they took the second external exam, which is optional from the subjects mathematics, foreign language (English, French, German or Russian), aesthetics and philosophy.

15 candidates (899 from high schools, 7135 from professional and 8504 from art schools) were registered to take the state matura in the June session.

Graduates who did not pass the state matura or not in full will have a second chance in the August session when the two external exams will be taken on August 10 and 12.
