Reznikov: Ukraine will not target the territory of Russia with the received long-range weapons

Ukraine will not use long-range weapons, promised by the United States, to target Russian territory, but will only use them against Russian units on occupied Ukrainian territory, Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov said today.
The United States confirmed on Friday that new missiles, which will double Ukraine's strike range, are included in a $2,175 billion military aid package for Kyiv to retaliate against an attack by Russian forces, British media reported.
- We constantly officially tell our partners that we will not use weapons delivered by foreign partners for targets on Russian territory. We attack only Russian units on temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory, Reznikov said at a press conference.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, earlier today, said that there is an agreement with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky that the weapons supplied by the West will be used only on the territory of Ukraine and will not be used for attacks on the territory of Russia.
In an interview with "Bild", when asked if there is an agreement with President Zelensky that weapons from the West will be used only on the territory of Ukraine and will not be used to attack the territory of Russia, Scholz answered that "there is a consensus on this".
