Nearly 34 million people have already been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Turkey, Turkish media reported. The fast pace of vaccination continues in the country where citizens can choose between the preparation of the Chinese company Sinovak and Pfizer / Biontech.

More than 20 million people have been given the first dose, and more than 13,7 million have two, according to the Turkish Ministry of Health. The highest number of vaccinated citizens is in Istanbul (5,7 million people), followed by the capital Ankara (2,9 million) and Izmir (2,3 million people).

At the same time, the number of people infected with the new coronavirus continues to decline in Turkey. According to the latest data for the last 24 hours, 5012 people became infected with the coronavirus, and 53 died.
