
Marbled Kuglof Recipe with Walnuts and Raisins: The Perfect Winter Cake
In these cold days, the need for something sweet is greater. This kuglof enriched with nuts and raisins will satisfy your sweet tooth. The grated lemon zest gives it a special aroma, and the nuts a richer taste. The preparation time takes less than 20 minutes, but baking in a special mold requires more time. The end result is an incredibly soft cake with a unique taste.

Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 100 g of sugar
- 70 ml of olive oil
– 200 g of sour cream or yogurt
- 200 g flour
- 50 ml of milk
– grated lemon peel
- 100 g of cooking chocolate
- 50 g chopped walnuts
- 50 g of raisins
– a bag of baking powder
Preparation:
Beat the egg whites with sugar, beat the yolks with the cream and sift the flour with the baking powder. Add oil, chopped nuts, grated lemon, milk and mix everything. Divide into two parts, one part should be slightly smaller. Add the melted chocolate to the smaller part and mix.
Coat the kuglof with oil and sprinkle with flour. Alternately pour the light and chocolate part and then shake the kugloff a little.
Bake at 180 degrees for about 50 minutes. When the cake has cooled, you can decorate with powdered sugar, if desired.
