Rumors linking the Paris Saint-Germain superstar, Killian Mbape with the Spanish and European champion Real Madrid started circulating in the media again despite knowing how things went last summer. The Frenchman was thought to be on the verge of a deal with the "Kings", but instead the striker changed his mind at the last minute and decided to extend his contract with PSG.

But the 2018 World Cup champion in Russia is not feeling very happy in Paris, with Mbappe's current contract expiring at the end of next season, further reigniting speculation of his transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Marca now claim that Real Madrid have cut off all contact with PSG and there are no talks about Mbappe. The 24-year-old's current contract with the Parisians expires in the summer of 2024, although there is an option to extend for a further 12 months which can only be done with the player's consent.

For their part, PSG have reportedly asked Mbappe to make a decision on his future and inform the club by May so they can plan what to do with him. The newspaper adds that Real's management have made it clear that they will never negotiate with the French champions under the current circumstances.

If the sports director Luis Campos retains the post, it will likely mean the France international will remain at the Parc des Princes as well, as the Portuguese is someone Mbappe fully trusts with the task of building a Champions League-winning squad.
