"Funk Shui" with an already built reputation of quality and constant metamorphosis will have a chance to win over the European audience and hopefully the world. Visiting one of the most renowned festivals for "future" names in music is a success for them and for us. Well, with the approach of the fans, their success is ours too.
You are the only representatives from Macedonia at the Liverpool Sound City Festival, which focuses on artists you have yet to hear about. How does it feel to be part of such a line-up?
- We are very happy for the opportunity, we are hyper energized by the thought that we will play at such a super festival, and we are also very happy that it gave us the opportunity to play in a very cult club in London.
What was crucial for you to become part of the Liverpool Sound City and how many performances are waiting for you?
- We want to believe that it is hard and dedicated work, both by us and our team from "Banana and Salt" and the English hosts "Balthazar".
In January you had an online show for the Eurosonic festival which was a stepping stone in the career of many artists. What benefit did you get from participating in this festival since you were prevented from performing live due to the pandemic?
- We had a great time recording our performance for the Netherlands and of course we expect, as the gig is already fulfilled, to expect us to open slightly bigger doors from the region.
You have been in a new lineup since January. Will this be your first joint performance in front of an audience? Do you expect a change in energy or performance?
- Yes, this will be officially our first performance in front of an audience, although we already had a "secret show" for the Belgrade audience before the end of last year where we felt the new energy with Martina for the first time and we are very excited to share it with the audience.
