We will have to wait again, but we will continue to do the same, and rely on ourselves, and not only on what Brussels is saying, said the Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama at a panel at the First Economic Forum in Skopje, in which he also participates. Prime Minister Zoran Zaev commenting on the failure of the EU to deliver the start of negotiations for Skopje and Tirana yesterday.

- We will have to wait again. But for me this is not a wait, we just need to keep doing the same thing, move forward and not just rely on what Brussels is saying, but rely on ourselves, on our own energy to do our best with in order to unite the missions into one mission, the nations into one nation, the countries into one zone where there will be no restrictions on cooperation, Rama said in his address, narrating the brother of the Prime Minister Zoran Zaev.

He stressed the importance of regional co-operation for the region's progress.

- We are too small to live isolated from each other, too small to seek the future for our children alone, but we can do it together. Our border-bound areas are not attractive enough to make transformational change as economies, but our common economy is attractive and we need to make it attractive enough for everyone to invest to see economic development opportunities for their companies and people in this region, said Rama.

According to him, after resolving the dispute with Greece and signing the Prespa Agreement, everyone has the right to feel frustrated by the blockade, which, this time, comes from Bulgaria.

-Everyone has the right to feel completely frustrated because suddenly Bulgaria appears now and demands something more. I told Zoran I hope they will not ask you to call yourself Western Bulgaria because then you will have to go back to the Greeks to negotiate, said Rama jokingly.

According to him, the failure to decide on the start of negotiations with Macedonia and Albania is a failure of the EU.

- We are not the ones who failed, they failed. They have their reasons and I understand it is their home, and we want to get into that house. We are Europeans without the EU, we are the EU but we are still Europe. The only problem is that they could still say "we love you, we want you to be inside but we have some things we need to solve first. "Your premises, your rooms are not ready yet." What they keep saying is that you are not ready yet, but that is not true. They could just say, "You've done your job, but we're not ready, said Rama.
