Rama wants to help Kovacevski save the Government, but there is no way out, say VMRO-DPMNE
Representatives of VMRO-DPMNE say that the meeting of the leaders of the parties of the Macedonian Albanians with the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, will be held at the request of the Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski, for whom it is "an attempt to save the Government".
"I think that the background of this meeting is a serious panic that is currently occurring in the government. It is mostly with SDSM, however atypical it may seem for the rhetoric about this meeting which is in the public these days. According to my opinion and knowledge, I think that this meeting is happening precisely at the request of SDSM and Dimitar Kovacevski, who are looking for help in the survival of this Government, because the Government is on the verge of collapse and is trying to get help in this way to save his government. And, in return, to realize political, if you like, regional agendas that are harmful to Macedonia and the Macedonian people", said the vice-president of VMRO-DPMNE Aleksandar Nikoloski as a guest in the show "What is not clear" on "Alfa" TV.
The MP from the opposition, Mile Lefkov, presented similar theses in the show "24 Analysis". He said that "a meeting like this six years ago helped Zaev".
"We see that the one who was walking around taking minutes, now in the same way Rama is trying to save Kovacevski and Ahmeti. These are important moments for both Grubi and Ottomans, who destroy the trust between the people. Kovacevski says that he does not know what his coalition partners are discussing in Tirana and this is proof that the meeting is at his request. It is not possible to discuss the problems we have here in Titana," said Lefkov.
