Rama urges Biden Kosovo to be immediately invited to Partnership for Peace

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama announced on social media that he spoke with US President Joe Biden today, stating that the US leader had said the best words for Albania.
According to Rama, Biden expressed a desire to organize something joint on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
"I heard from President Biden the best words about Albania and its role in the UN and NATO Security Council, as well as his desire to organize something together on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Albania-US diplomatic relations," Rama wrote.
In a Twitter message, he also said that at the NATO Summit he asked Kosovo to be immediately invited to the Partnership for Peace mechanism.
- Today in NATO: I asked Kosovo to be immediately invited to the "Partnership for Peace" mechanism. "I have asked the countries that have not yet recognized Kosovo to assess its EU-aligned stance on Russian aggression against Ukraine, despite the fact that Ukraine has not yet recognized Kosovo," Rama said in a Twitter post.
