Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said today that he is worried by the ultimate tones of the allies towards Kosovo.

At the press conference on the situation in the north of Kosovo, when asked why he now feels this concern, Rama said that he was "concerned about the last ultimatums of the allies for Kosovo", which according to him "could bring incalculable consequences". He also mentioned the increase in the number of soldiers in Kosovo, which, according to him, means a decrease in sovereign capacities.

- I am very concerned about the dramatic decline of Kosovo in the eyes of the allies and the ultimate tones of the allies, which can have incalculable consequences in many aspects, starting with the consequences of increasing the number of troops in Kosovo, which means reducing the sovereign capacities of Kosovo. Or it means losing Kosovo in the sense of losing a chance to fully integrate the North into its institutional life, Rama said.

As reported by the state agency ATA, he assessed that "it would be a terrible thing from the point of view of our interests".

- That's why I'm very worried, not about what others are worried about, nor about what is being proclaimed as threats to Kosovo. Since 1999, Kosovo has not been under any threat. There is no threat to Kosovo. The threat is only in the minds of politicians in Kosovo and it is just a way to make internal politics using the shadow of a threat that does not exist, Rama added.

He pointed out that "Serbia lost Kosovo in 1999 and has no strength to touch Kosovo even a strand of hair".

- Anyone who watches the scene without electoral interests in Serbia or Kosovo knows this, added Rama.
