Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said through a post on social networks that the renewed Berlin process is just one of the many successes of friends and allies in Berlin.

- The renewed Berlin process is just one of the many successes of our friends and allies in Berlin. Albania will remain deeply committed to this process as the main platform for high-level cooperation in the Western Balkans, Rama wrote on the X platform.

Rama thanks German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for his leadership on the occasion of the Congress of the Social Democratic Party held in Berlin.

- On the occasion of the SDP Congress in Berlin, I sincerely thank Chancellor Olaf Scholz for his leadership, he states.

Rama, together with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and former Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, launched the "Open Balkans" initiative, for which he was severely criticized by the Albanian opposition, accusing him of abandoning the Berlin process as a "vassal of Vucic".
