The handball players of Vardar are better than Pristina for the second time in the EHF Cup
The handball players of WHC Vardar had a successful comeback on the European stage after they defeated the team of Pristina in the second leg of the second round of the EHF Cup. After celebrating with 35:39 in the first match, Vardar in the return match celebrated with 32:27 and secured a place in the third round.
The "Red-Blacks" secured the victory with the furious first half which they won with 21:11 and in the second 30 minutes they routinely brought the match to an end.
The best in the ranks of Vardar was Sara Minovska with seven goals, six were scored by Marija Galevska, while Damjanovska scored five goals, Ilic had eight saves on the goal.
The second Macedonian team in the EHF Cup, WHC Despina was convincingly defeated by Skara from Sweden with 37:10 and tomorrow's rematch will be a mere formality.
