Handball players from Vojvodina achieved historic success in Europe

Serbian handball club Vojvodina recorded the greatest success in the history of the international scene, after reaching the semi-finals of EHF Cup.

Vojvodina managed to triumph on the visit of the Slovenian team Gorenje Velenje with a score of 30:26 (14:12). In the first match, the Serbs were minimally better with 31:30.

The goalkeeper of the Serbian team, Fran Luchin, saved two seven-pointers in the decisive moments of the match.

Among the scorers in the winning ranks, Belarusian Pukhovski was the most effective with seven goals.

Vojvodina's rival in the semifinals of the European club competition is the better of the two-match Alingsas - Dukla. Alingsas was better in the first 60 minutes with 39:33.
