The judge has yet to decide whether new evidence will be considered, and Kelly has been in prison for nearly two years, awaiting trial. One of the biggest rhythm and blues stars of the nineties he denied ever abusing anyone, and his lawyers have not commented on the latest allegations.

Robert Sylvester Kelly, better known as Р. Kelly is due to appear in court in New York next month for the case involving sexual exploitation of children, taking indecent photographs of minors, racketeering and obstructing court proceedings.

Prosecutors would also like jurors to hear more than a dozen others who allege that Kelly abused, threatened or harassed them. Among them is a 17-year-old boy and ambitious musician, whom Kelly allegedly met at McDonald's, and then invited to his studio in Chicago. After offering him help in his music career, R. Kelly had sexual contact with him at the time. Prosecutors say the same teenager met Kelly with a friend, who was 16 or 17, and with whom the singer had sex a few years later.

The additional allegations also state that the 54-year-old singer forced several women, including a minor, to have sex with a young man while he was filming them.

Rumors of sexual harassment have plagued him since the last decade of the 20th century, but more charges were filed in court only after the release of the documentary "Surviving R Kelly" in early 2019 on Netflix.

Many colleagues and collaborators of the popular American singer, dancer, songwriter and actor publicly criticize him, supporting his victims.
