Putin: We know that the West is supplying Ukraine with nuclear weapons

The Russian president Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin during today's conversation with the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated that the United States had delivered approx 200 pieces of nuclear tactical weapons in Europe and that 257 fighter jets from several NATO member states have been prepared for that purpose.

At the same time, Putin confirmed that Moscow would deliver new short-range tactical missile systems to Belarus in the coming months. Iskander M, reports TASS.

"In accordance with our previous agreement, it was decided to deliver Iskander-M tactical missile systems to Belarus in the coming months, which, as you know, use both ballistic and cruise missiles in both standard and nuclear modifications," Putin said.

In addition, the Russian president informed President Lukashenko that the Russian government is in close contact with the relevant UN agencies on the issue of global supply of cereals and fertilizers.

"I repeat, let us return to the most pressing issues, which are the supply of food and fertilizer on a global scale. "We are in direct contact with the relevant specialized UN agencies," Putin said.

In a recording of the meeting with Lukashenko, which was posted on social media by a reporter for the state television "Russia 1", Putin reminded that Russia and Belarus are the main suppliers of fertilizers on the world market, Reuters reported earlier.
