Puljizovic new reinforcement for RK Butel
Bosnian international Sasa Puljizovic is the new handball player of Butel Skopje, after the midfielder signed a one-year contract today. Puljizovic in Butel comes from the Bosnian team Borac Banja Luka where he spent the last season. He is 32 years old and has a lot of experience from performances in many European clubs. The midfielder comes from the Bosnian team Derventa, and in the region he wore the jerseys of Gradacac, Bjelovar and Metaloplastika. He was part of the Israeli Bnei Herzliya, the Turkish Kayseri, the Austrian Tyrol, the Romanian Suceava, the Swedish Helsingborg, from where he made a transfer to the Finnish Cox, with which he played two seasons in the Champions League.
- I must admit that already in the first conversation with the people from Butel, I recognized the ambitions, desires and the tendency to achieve better results from year to year. That was one of the main reasons I accepted the offer. I know that some great handball players came for the next season and I hope that we will use the preparation period in the best possible way, to get to know each other, play as well as possible and be ready to welcome the start of the championship. Many of my friends, coaches and players who are in Macedonia, talked to me in superlatives about the league, the fans, the rivalry between the clubs…. I had the opportunity to play with Cox in Bitola and to realize for myself that people in Macedonia love and understand handball. I believe that the transfer to Butel Skopje will be a great experience for me in my career and that we will have results that will satisfy our supporters - says Puljizovic.
