The Norwegian Security Service (NSM) announced today that in the past 24 hours a number of private and public institutions in that country have been exposed to a cyber attack.

"Probably a criminal pro-Russian group is behind the attack," the NSM said in a statement. According to the statement, the attacks were aimed at institutions that offer important services.

The website of the Norwegian Labor Inspectorate was unavailable today, and Norwegian media reported that she was among those exposed to the attack.
