The economic reform program will include measures to reduce the shadow economy

 The Economic Reform Program 2022-2024 will incorporate measures aimed at green and digital transition, improving the business environment and reducing the informal economy.

The proposed measures stem from the recommendations that are part of the adopted conclusions of this year's Economic Policy Dialogue held in July this year with representatives of EU member states, Western Balkans and Turkey, as well as the EC Assessment of the Economic Reform Program 2021 - 2023.

- Recommendations were given for improving the first draft text of the proposed reform measures. They will be considered in the next period within the EC advisory mission and given to public consultations. This is a continuous process, which is implemented together with the EU and is a preparation for participation in the process of economic and fiscal surveillance of EU member states in order to implement key reform processes in the country, which will intensify dialogue with the EU. say from the Ministry of Finance.

The entire process of preparation of the document is coordinated by the Ministry of Finance with the participation of the relevant state institutions. The program should be submitted to the EC no later than January 31 next year.

Today's second meeting, held within the process of preparation of the Program, was attended by the Minister of Finance Fatmir Besimi, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Fatmir Bitiki, the Minister of Education and Science Mila Carovska, the Minister of Transport and Communications Blagoj Bochvarski, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs politics Jagoda Shahpaska, Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Naser Nuredini, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Trajan Dimkovski and members of the inter-ministerial Working Group for preparation of the Economic Reform Program 2022 - 2024.
