Detention of Vasko Stefanov and seven other defendants in the action "Additive", Kovachevski unavailable to the authorities

The suspects D.S., S.M., P.C., D.S., A.M., Z.N., Z.A., S.M., M.V., D.C. ., V.M., N.N. and S.K. they have been given precautionary measures, that is, their travel documents have been confiscated, they have the obligation to occasionally appear in court, they have a ban on maintaining and establishing contacts, as well as a ban on undertaking certain work activities related to the crime.
– As for the suspect V.K. who, until this moment, has not been deprived of his liberty, nor has he been executed or appeared in court, to the Basic Criminal Court Skopje, the competent Public Prosecutor submitted a proposal for the determination of precautionary measures in accordance with Article 146 paragraph 1, item 2, 3 and 6 i.e. Confiscation of a travel document, Obligation to occasionally appear in court and Prohibition on maintaining and establishing contacts, which the court will additionally decide after it is provided by the authorities of prosecution, say the Court and add that against these decisions the parties have the right to appeal before the Criminal Council.
They emphasize that the public should be aware that according to the legal provisions, a judge of a preliminary procedure cannot determine stricter measures to ensure attendance than the measures proposed by the public prosecutor.
