Special equipment for the construction of a high-speed railway with a speed of 200 kilometers per hour from Novi Sad to Subotica has been unloaded at the port of DP World in Novi Sad, the company announced. The total weight of the equipment that was transported by barge to the port of Novi Sad is more than 1.300 tons.

The general director of DP Ward Novi Sad, Claudio Negreanu, pointed out that special diesel locomotives weighing 138 tons were loaded from bars in the port, Beta reported.

"The successful operation of receiving, unloading and storing almost 70 different pieces of special equipment is another indication that we are equipped for the most complex port operations," said Negreanu.

He added that two cranes with a capacity of 350 and 400 tons were used for that work. He reminded that the construction of a high-speed railway from Novi Sad to Subotica with a speed of up to 200 kilometers per hour is part of the international corridor connecting Belgrade and Budapest.
