Handing over a Japanese donation in support of the National Opera and Ballet

A donation from a grant from the Government of Japan for support of culture - Project for improvement of musical instruments, sound equipment and lighting for the National Opera and Ballet will be handed over in the lobby of the National Opera and Ballet today at noon.

The donation is realized in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Organization (JICA) within the cultural grants program.

The coordination and delivery of this donation as foreign aid was carried out through the Secretariat for European Affairs, together with the Embassy of Japan in Northern Macedonia and the Ministry of Culture.

The Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Nikola Dimitrov will address the press conference on the occasion of the donation, as the National Coordinator of Foreign Aid, and will be attended by Japanese Ambassador Savada Hironori, Minister of Culture Irena Stefoska, JICA Chief Representative for the Balkans - Takeichi Giro and Director of the National Opera and Ballet, Vaso Ristov.
