The "war" between ex-spouses Angelina Jolie и Brad Pitt no way to stop. Namely, after he managed to prove that Jolie refused to sell him her share of the joint winery "Miraval Chateau Nouvelle" because she felt "vindictive" towards him, Pitt filed new court documents.

But a source close to the actress claims that Jolie canceled the winery deal not because she wanted revenge on her ex-husband, but because Pitt tried to stop her from talking about his abuse of their children.

It is known that Pitt was accused of "choking and punching" one of their children during the infamous private flight in 2016, as well as "pouring beer" on Jolie.

Citing court documents filed in 2022, Jolie's friend said: "The truth is (he) refused to complete the sale of 'Miraval' with Jolie unless she agreed to remain silent about the abuse... He demanded that 8,5 .XNUMX million dollars (of his payment to the winery) to force her to remain silent.”

The source close to the actress added that no matter what maneuver Pitt tried to do, "he cannot escape the fact that he verbally and physically attacked Ms. Jolie and their children, and even choked one of the children and hit the other."

As a reminder, Jolie sold her share of the winery to a Russian oligarch Yuri Scheffler last year, which is why Pitt sued her. Pitt acknowledged that his ex-wife put up 40 percent of the $28,4 million purchase price, but maintained that he alone was responsible for the winery's success. Pitt also claimed that under the terms of their 2019 divorce, he and Jolie agreed and "mutually understood" that neither could sell their share of the winery without the other's consent.
