The directors of Israel's Mossad intelligence service and the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) will hold a meeting with Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Yashim Al Thani to "continue to build on the progress" made by the two-day extension of the Israel-Hamas truce.

An Egyptian delegation will also participate in the talks, and the purpose of the meeting is to open the next phase of the potential negotiations, British media reported, citing their own sources.

The head of Qatar's diplomacy, Majed Al Ansari, previously said that his country will try to extend the truce, but that negotiations with Tel Aviv are the most difficult part.
