The presidential salary in the region is the highest in Albania, and the lowest in Serbia
The President of Albania Bajram Begaj is the highest paid president in the region, after the Parliament passed the Law on increasing the salary of officials. His salary of 2.320 euros is now 3.860 euros, surpassing the salaries of the presidents of Croatia and Slovenia.
The president of Slovenia Natasha Pirc Musar is in second place with a salary of 3.322 euros, while the Croatian president Zoran Milanovic takes 3.000 euros per month.
Right behind them are the three members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Denis Beqirovic, Zelka Cvijanovic and Zelko Komsic, each with 2.920 euros per month in their leadership position, the Macedonian president Stevo Pendarovski with a monthly salary of 2.700 euros and his Montenegrin colleague Jakov Milatović, who has a salary of 2420 euros.
On the other hand, the salary of the president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, after the last increase amounts to 2160 euros, while the Serbian president Aleksandar Vuќi., whose salary was increased in January, now receives 1700 euros per month, which is the lowest salary of a head of state in the region.
