Handball in Macedonia today received a new club, RK Alkaloid which is a project of the President of RFM, Zhivko Mukaetov, and part of the new project will be the selector and captain of the national team Kiril Lazarov with his brand KL7. The priority of the club will be work and promotion of young handball players

- I have the pleasure to find the formation of RK Alkaloid, which will compete in the First Men's League. Exactly that League is the place where the spears are broken and the steel in the young talents is hardened. HC Alkaloid will aim at the right way of functioning and recruiting, building and directing young handball talents. The club should bring promotion of positive values. You know me well enough and you know my work in both handball and business. I will continue to strive for balanced work and we do not plan to favor the club. No need for privileged status. I will totally distance myself from the operational functioning of the club and maintain my neutrality - andsaid Mukaetov.

The first man of the new club will be the former handball player Goran Minov, while part of the team will be Kiril Lazarov who says that there will be no conflict of interest.

- Knowing myself, I am the most difficult for myself, then for others. My character will not allow me to have a conflict of interest. I am required to get a result, in time it will show if we have worked well. I will not have such things. This is a project for the good of Macedonia. It is an honor and pleasure for me to be part of this project, where the main role will be played by a world-renowned company like Alkaloid. We will work together, for the good of the Macedonian sport, of the Macedonian handball. My experience says that in order to form a quality base of young athletes, the most important thing is to work well with young players, it is something that needs to be raised to a higher level. Together we should give everything to build new Macedonian national team players who will wear the national jersey in the future. There are many centers for forming young players in Europe and in the world, with this project we will try to copy this way of functioning, so that we can sleep peacefully and build a peaceful future of Macedonian handball. We are ready for cooperation with other clubs, all in order for the good of the Macedonian sport and to progress, to have what we all want, and that is a quality national team - said Lazarov.
