According to the latest information from the media in Serbia, Svetisla Pesic will continue to be the coach of the basketball national team.

Pesic's contract had previously ended and the media announced that he would step down from his position, and that was his statement. However, it seems that there will be no change.

Allegedly, Pesic already had a meeting with the new president of the Basketball Union of Serbia, Nebojsa Covic, and they agreed to continue the cooperation.

With Covic and Pesic, there is an idea to implement a long-term contract in which Pesic will himself introduce into the project the man who would replace him when he leaves the helm of the national team.

Recently, Bogdan Bogdanović and Vanja Marinković made public statements, commenting that it would be good if Pešić continued to lead the national team.
