The President of the Government, Dimitar Kovachevski, visited "Aktiva", a company with domestic capital that has been established in the metal processing industry for two decades, and since 2014 has entered the segment of the automotive industry.

The company is a beneficiary of a measure from the Law on Financial Support of Investments for a five-year investment project started in 2018, with a value of five million euros and they have 580 employees.

- Supporting companies in the implementation of new investment projects and in strengthening their competitiveness is our commitment, because in this way the economic growth and development of the country is strengthened, the GDP grows, and the standard of living of the citizens is ultimately raised. This year, 277 new support contracts have been signed with companies entering investment cycles of around 145 million euros and will create more than 3.700 jobs in the next five years or until the end of their contracts. In 2021 alone, these 277 companies invested around 50 million euros and created over 1.500 new jobs. Through this Law, in the past five years, as long as this measure has been implemented, support agreements have been concluded with 630 companies, Kovacevski says.

He noted that the Government creates a favorable business environment and supports both foreign and domestic investors.

- For us, everyone is important, everyone who invests, who creates new economic value and jobs. The goal is to get through this crisis together, to create better paid jobs, and for companies to invest, to modernize, to be productive and competitive on the European markets, Kovacevski said.

He emphasized that our companies once again showed how agile they are and in such difficult times they invest in improving their competitiveness, their products, introducing new production lines for increased efficiency and productivity.

Zoran Ilievski, manager of "Aktiva" said that they continuously increase production and employees and export to "Thiessen Krupp", "Van Hall" and "Fastglobal Solution".

- By overcoming the health and energy crisis, we will successfully show that as a domestic company that uses the Government's subsidies for capital investments, we have managed to increase production by 2021 percent after 60 and the corona crisis. We managed to increase the number of employees to more than 30 percent, i.e. we have a total of 580 employees and thus complete a process that opens up new opportunities for us to be able to cover the markets of Europe and the world, Ilievski said.
