In the "25 May" hall at the Youth Cultural Center in Skopje, on December 5 (Thursday), starting at 20 p.m., the premiere performance of the theatrical play "Hunger" will be held.

The author's team consisting of the director Hana Milenkovska, the playwright Kalija Kiselicki and the composer Adi Imeri, stages the drama that deals with gluttony and hunger, from an emotional and physical point of view. The work seeks to indicate that the cycle of hunger is not isolated, but that it is, in fact, an eternal struggle of man and collectives.

Actors Leo Popovic, Deniz Ajdarevic, Marko Mladenovic, Filip Milenkoski and Dimitar Paskoski will present a microcosm of complex human emotions and relationships, in a multitude of contexts, which will bring closer the positions of (super)power, suffering, togetherness and fighting tenacity in a world where abundance is enjoyed by few, while hunger reigns unceasingly.

The artistic production organization "Atrium" thanks the team of collaborators, the illustrator Mateja Nikolic, the lighting designer Igor Mitrevski, the choreographer Boban Ruseski, the cameraman and editor Istok Chapovski for their contribution, as well as to the involved teams from the Youth Cultural Center, "Laboratory". and FDU Skopje for the allocated workspace and contribution to the process.

The project is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of North Macedonia and EVN.
