Negotiators from Iran and the six world powers today suspended talks on reviving the 2015 nuclear deal, and are returning to their countries for consultations, as the remaining differences can not be easily overcome, confirmed the head of the Iranian delegation Abbas Arakchi.

- We are closer to an agreement than ever, but there are some differences in attitudes that can not be easily overcome and it is not an easy thing. That is why I am returning to Tehran tonight - Arakchi said in an interview with Iranian state television.

In Vienna Negotiations on the steps to be taken have been under way since April Iran in connection with nuclear activities and САД in relation to sanctions, in order to reach full agreement on the nuclear deal, from which the administration of former US President Donald Trump withdrew in 2018 and imposed sanctions against Tehran.

- Filling in the gaps in the agreement requires decisions that should mainly be made by the other party (Washington). I hope that in the next round of negotiations the misunderstandings in the negotiation process will be overcome, - stressed Arkachi.

It has not been announced yet when the formal negotiations will continue.
