The draft budget of the Ministry of Information Society and Administration for 2022 is 1.323.684.000 denars, which means we have an increase in some items in the budget compared to last year, said at today's press conference Minister Jeton Shaqiri. The budget consists of funds for financing the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services, the National Broadcasting and the National Radio and Television, further funds for the work of MARnet, funds for digitalization of services for citizens and businesses and funds aimed at increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the administration. and the processes inside, institutionally, Shaqiri pointed out.

- The first and most of this money, ie 900.000.000 denars are allocated for financing the National Radio Television, the National Broadcasting and the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services. In this way, the citizens are free from costs, and on the other hand, these institutions receive regular and predictable funds, ie we enable their autonomy and independence. The second pillar in the budget of MISA is the budget of MARnet which amounts to 15.254.000 denars. By allocating funds in the budget, and as part of the National Operational Broadband Plan, we continue to invest in connecting the Universities and all other educational and research institutions in the MARnet network, which will contribute to the realization of the goals related to increasing the needs after use. of broadband services and their promotion as well as reducing the digital divide. By connecting the educational and scientific institutions in the MARnet network, all pupils, students and researchers in the Republic of Northern Macedonia will be able to use the services of GEANT, said Shaqiri.

From the rest of the draft budget for 2022, ie the third pillar with a budget of 277.532.000 denars, a large part of the funds are provided for digitalization of services and easier, faster, more efficient access to them for citizens and businesses.

- All services, available to all citizens are our priority goal for the next 2022. Therefore, we invest in bringing services closer to the citizens in two ways: through the centers for "One point of services" and through the procurement of hardware and software solution for issuing documents. The first four offices "One point for services" have been opened in Kumanovo, Ohrid, Tetovo and Bitola. With this, except in Skopje, we enable citizens from other cities to receive services and information from various state and public institutions in one place, said Shaqiri, adding that transparency and openness in work and regular consultation with citizens is the basis for policy making. and making decisions that are in the interest of all citizens.

- Digitalization has once again proved to not only facilitate our daily lives, but also stimulate economic growth. Therefore, now that we see the end of the covid-19 pandemic, we are even more focused on seizing the momentum to invest in digitalisation and reach the goal of getting rid of the use of printed paper by July 1, 2022, which is the goal of The government, he said.
