DUI President Ali Ahmeti accompanied by First Deputy Prime Minister Artan Grubi, Minister of Finance Fatmir Besimi, Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Naser Nuredini, Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi, Mayor of Tetova Teuta Arifi and others Officials visited Shar Mountain today on the occasion of its proclamation as a National Park.

During the visit, Ahmeti stressed that the decision to declare Sharr Mountain a national park is an important historic step that will contribute to the protection of this national treasure. He further stressed that this decision enables the creation of a system of sustainable management of the area that is rich in biodiversity.

"This is a very important moment for us, the proclamation of Shar Mountain as a National Park, which according to all studies covers an area of ​​630 km2, I would say it is the greatest national treasure because the future of tourism, the future of people is in natural resources. We all know that all science, technology goes in the direction of reducing fuel consumption, and we all know that the future is the future of green, so we are lucky and a gift from God to put this national treasure in
"service to the people, in the service of increasing the quality of life," said President Ahmeti.

The Minister of Environment Naser Nuredini emphasized that with the proclamation of Shar Mountain as a national park in the part of Northern Macedonia, it becomes one of the most developed areas in the country in terms of tourism and makes a great contribution to the economic development of the country.

Otherwise, after the adoption of the Law on Protection of Shar Mountain, a public company was established to manage the national park of Shar Mountain.
