The vacuum cleaner is a neglected part of almost every household and is unsurpassed in cleaning the house or apartment. However, with long-term use it happens that the vacuum cleaner works less and less. Fortunately, the solution to this situation is more than simple.

Here's what you need to do to get it working like new again.

First, open the part of the vacuum cleaner where the dust bag is located. Pay attention to the rubber on the cover. This rubber, when the cover is closed, should come into contact with the rubber of the dust bag and seal hermetically, that is, be closed.

In this case, dust deposits are formed on the tire, which in some places are up to one millimeter thick.

Because of this, the two tires do not stick to each other and instead of pulling air through the vacuum hose, the motor pulls the air between these two tires, which significantly reduces the cleaning power.

The same can happen to the rubber part of the dust bag. The solution is, you guessed it, simple. Remove hard deposits from the tire with a damp cloth. Do the same to the dust bag.

Then, it is necessary to clean the filters, which become significantly dirty after long-term use of the vacuum cleaner. Remove the suction filter from the housing. Do the same with the filter that cleans the air coming out of the vacuum cleaner.

First, shake both filters well, then wash them with water and detergent (you can also put new ones if you have them). After drying, return the filters to their place.

When you turn on the vacuum cleaner, you will see that it works like new again – it sucks efficiently and does not overheat.

If it still doesn't work, call a mechanic to check it or it's simply time to buy a new vacuum cleaner.
