The Directorate for Protection and Rescue informs that the fire in Belovodica and Mariovo has been brought under control.

"The director of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, Dzevat Selimi, continuously monitors the situation with active fires throughout the Republic of North Macedonia from the field. Today, in coordination with all republican forces, he coordinated the fire in the Prilep area near the villages of Peshtani - Kokre - Kalen - Dunje - Bonche - Krushevica - Volkovo - Shtavica, Prilep Municipality, headed by incident commander Ivica Naumovski. Specialized teams for extinguishing large-scale open space fires were mobilized to deal with the fire quickly. At the same time, the planes of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue were also involved in supporting the handling of the fire nodes", informs from the Directorate for Protection and Rescue.
