Heartbreaking testimony of the husband of the murdered migrant woman in Gevgelija: Fatma was pregnant, I was arrested, I don't even know where her body is

Fatmata's husband tells about the last moments he spent with her before she was shot. Immediately after crossing the border, she told him, "Now all doors seem closed, but another one will open for us. The future will be good." Abubakar's desire, as reported by the Second Tree organization, is for the world to know about this case.
Fatma is the name of the 23-year-old migrant who died last Wednesday after two policemen they stopped two cars in which migrants were illegally transported. The accident happened when one of the smugglers attacked a policeman and tried to take his service pistol, and in the mix-up a bullet was fired that ended up in Fatmata.
The organization "Second Tree" who works in the refugee camps in the northern part of Greece on the official Instagram account writes that she was killed after crossing the Greek border, a country that refused her asylum, making her invisible.
But she was human. She was warm, enthusiastic and cheerful. If you didn't know, you would never even guess that he lives in a refugee camp. She was 23 years old. She was full of life, always ready to share her strength and energy, and she loved to dance. She danced and sang "at the top of her voice," as her sister Brintina describes it. Think of her as that person, because that's how we'll remember her. She was part of our organization, Second Tree writes.
Fatma also had a husband, Abubakar, and they knew each other since childhood. They often called each other "my everything".
- They were so much in love that we often knew how to joke with them and tell them "I hope that I too will find someone who will love me that way", the post reads.
Two months before she was killed, Fatma told Abubakar that she was pregnant, but since they had no documents and no money, they never took a pregnancy test.
The organization says he still doesn't know if their first child died with his wife, but he was present when Fatma was shot.
-He was calling his name, begging for help, say "Second Tree" and add that there is also a video on which Abubakar hugs Fatma while she is dying from the gunshot wound.
Immediately after, Fatma's husband was arrested and kept in detention for a day without any news about his wife. He was offered to leave him at the border with Serbia, but he said that "he wants justice for Fatma".
Giovanni and Juliet from our team are now with Abubakar in North Macedonia. He still doesn't know where Fatma's body is and has been asking to see her since the day they were separated. He has a lawyer with him and they are ready to seek justice, the organization says.

The family of Fatmata - who was the youngest of five siblings - has the same desire.
