The employees received their last salary a month ago on April 15, and the deadline for this month has passed and they have not yet received their salary.

The employees of "Macedonian Post" went out to a mass protest yesterday to express their revolt and concern about the future of "Macedonian Post" and to save their jobs. For a long period, months and years, "Macedonian Post" has been facing a financial crisis and poor organization of operations, which has led to total chaos and to the bottom of existence. Union leader Boro Veligdenov said that they have not yet received their salary and do not know when they will receive it, because there is not enough financial inflow.

- The management does not have the answers - said Veligdenov.

According to the employees, they have reached this state because of the bad personnel and party policy, which has been happening for years.

- Enough with partisan, unprofessional personnel. We ask that the new government put "Macedonian Post" as a priority in order to find a solution - they say. The employees are asking for systematization and to finally settle the situation, because 2.000 employees will lose their jobs, and Macedonia will be the only country without a national post office. They reiterated that they do not need 15 subsidiaries, 15 directors, but employees in the technological process.

The union representative of "Macedonian Post" Sasho Dimitrievski said that they have information that postal parcels from another country are being distributed, which is not permissible according to the law, and requested that this practice be stopped.
They received their last salary a month ago on April 15, and the deadline for this month has passed and they have not yet received their salary. They announce a strike for June 7, when they have the legal opportunity to do so.
