Special traffic regime due to the "Skopje Marathon"

Due to the holding of the "Viz Air Skopje Marathon" races, the Road Traffic Safety Department at SVR Skopje will today take measures for a special traffic regime in the wider area of ​​the city of Skopje, whereby the traffic will be diverted along the surrounding roads, the Ministry informs for internal affairs.

The start of the races is announced at 07.30:XNUMX, with the following routes:
Route of movement of the 5 km race: Start in front of Sobranie, straight on "11 Oktomvri" street, left on "Krushevska Republika" blvd., right on "Treta Macedonian Brigade" blvd., then semi-circular at the crossroads between "Treta" blvd. Macedonian Brigade" and "Kosta Novaković" Street and along the same route back to the finish line - RSM Assembly on "11th Oktomvri" Street.

Route of movement of the half marathon of 21 km and the relay race of 42 km (with a note that for the relay race of 42 km the competitors move twice along the specified route): Start in front of Sobranie on "11 Oktomvri" street, straight towards Macedonia Square through Porta Makedonija, left along "Nikola Vaptsarov" street, right along "Dimitrie Chupovski" street, then left along "St. Kliment Ohridski" boulevard, right along "St. Cyril and Methodius" street, straight along "St. Metropolitan Teodosij Gologanov", then straight along "Vojvoda Vasil Chakalarov" street, until the intersection with "Isaija Madzovski" street, where it turns in a semi-circle back along the same route, until "Sobranie" on "11 Oktomvri" street and continues straight along "11 Oktomvri" Str., left along "Krushevska Republika" Blvd., right along "Treta Macedonian Brigade" Blvd., left along "Srbija" Blvd. (in the opposite direction), left along "Jane Sandanski" Blvd. (in opposite direction), until the intersection with "Jane Sandanski" street, where it turns in a semi-circle along the same streets to the destination - Makedonija Square.

The Ministry of the Interior appeals to all road users to obey the orders given by the uniformed police officers along the thoroughfare where the races will take place in order to ensure a safe and smooth flow of traffic.
