Special traffic regime in Ohrid during the upcoming weekend

The Ministry of the Interior informs the citizens that due to the meeting between the Serbian President and the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Aleksandar Vucic and Albin Kurti, which will take place this weekend in Ohrid, appropriate security measures are being taken in the area of ​​the Ohrid Ministry of Interior.

- The activities are aimed at the physical and traffic security of the thoroughfares and other facilities, for which contacts and coordination have already been established with the services of the local self-government, as well as with all legal entities responsible for the maintenance of the roads and streets in the city, with the Fund for communal activities, traffic and streets in the Municipality of Ohrid, with public enterprises as well as with other relevant entities, the Ministry of the Interior informs.

From there they point out that the police station for road traffic safety Ohrid intensively takes measures for traffic security, control and regulation of traffic, above all along the "Turistika" boulevard, but also along other roads and thoroughfares where stopping or parking of motor vehicles is not allowed and where it is planned to allow the vehicles with the priority of passage to pass.

At the same time, the traffic security covers the rest of the main, regional and local roads, as well as the protective belt of the roads, together with the streets in the populated areas and the parking lots.

- We appeal to the citizens to respect the orders issued by the police officers on the roads and in other areas, in order to increase the level of security during this event, the Ministry of the Interior appeals.
