Democratic Union for Integration MP Berat Ajdari today demanded moral responsibility from the mayor of Vrapciste, Isen Shabani, as well as from the president of the Alliance for Albanians Zijadin Sela and his coalition partner Afrim Gashi regarding what they said was a "shameful act" their mayor against his citizens. "

Namely, according to MP Berat Ajdari, he accuses Mayor Shabani of immoral behavior because due to a sculpture of a two-headed eagle that was placed in the municipal building in the village of Negotino in Gostivar, some residents allegedly reported the persons to the police.

- I, Berat Ajdari, as a former member of the NLA, as well as all other Albanian citizens in the Republic of Northern Macedonia, express deep indignation at the controversial action of the mayor of Vrapciste, who is bothered by the sacred symbol of the Albanians, the double-headed eagle. To make this act even more embarrassing, Isen Shabani addressed the police authorities only in Macedonian, disrespecting the Law on Bilingualism, bypassing the implementation they demand day and night. The above-mentioned mayor, abusing his position through a letter sent to the police authorities, reported that several residents of the village of Negotino in the municipality of Vrapciste allegedly illegally placed the double-headed eagle overnight in the municipal building in the village of Negotino, said Ajdari.

Due to this, according to Ajdari, "shameful" and "spy act", he asks the president of the Alliance for Albanians, Zijadin Sela, as well as the president of Alternativa, Afrim Gashi, to come out publicly to clear the case, and to apologize to the Albanians and at the same time to condemn this act of the mayor of Vrapciste.

- This act of Isen Shabani shows his real face, the real face of his leader Zijadin Sela and the false patriotism that they are trying to sell to the Albanian citizens. At the end of all this, we can conclude that when a mayor spies on those who gave him the confidence to lead the municipality, imagine what they can do if they are in power !, emphasizes the visibly offended DUI MP Ajdari.

On the other hand, the mayor of Vrapciste announced on Facebook that he had not written such a letter and that it was a slander by DUI.

-Every person with secondary education should know that every official document issued by an institution has an archive number (protocol), a number for admission to the institution where it was sent and similar evidence, defined by law. In the letter issued by the slanderers, those who do not want the best for the citizens, there is no archive number, no protocol trace. This proves even better that the letter is forged. Therefore, from this moment on, my legal representative will deal with this matter. Slanderers will answer, wrote Shabani.
