Poland has acquired fighter jets that cannot be used for combat
The Polish Ministry of Defense has purchased a series of unarmed Korean fighter jets, which cannot be used for combat, the world's news agencies report.
This incredible news was announced by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Poland, Cezary Tomczyk, in response to the parliamentary inquiry on the subject of Korean FA-50 aircraft.
According to him, Poland used a tactic that is rarely seen in the negotiation process, which is that the most important issue for the purchase of aircraft weapons is negotiated after their acquisition.
As a result, Poland received 12 fighter jets for training pilots without combat capabilities as early as a year ago.
- These are perhaps the first training aircraft in the world that cannot be used in real combat, Tomczyk said. In other words, we have aircraft for combat training that are for training, but not for real warfare - added the deputy head of the Ministry of Defense.
"Defense Minister Blaszczak bought a plane without weapons, but there is another problem that the weapons for this plane are no longer produced," said the Polish Deputy Minister of Defense.
