Police fine 253 drivers in Skopje
The Ministry of Interior yesterday imposed a total of 235 measures on the territory of the city of Skopje, including 73 sanctions for driving more than the speed limit, 17 for driving without a driver's license and 56 offenses committed by motorcyclists.
Six sanctions were imposed for technically defective and unregistered vehicles, 17 for driving under the influence of alcohol, four for passing a closed signal (red light), 51 sanctions for illegal parking.
The Ministry of Interior announces that the intensified action traffic controls continue. He appeals to the citizens to respect the traffic rules and regulations in order to increase the traffic safety and together to contribute to safer roads.
