The police confirm that a diversion was reported to them at the IJZ: An employee turned off the refrigerators for reagents
The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirms to a question of "Sloboden Pechat" that yesterday at 17:14 in SVR Skopje by the Institute of Public Health it was reported that in the time period from 30:16 to XNUMX:XNUMX by an employee all the assemblies of the chambers were turned off where reagents for testing infectious and non-infectious diseases were kept.
Police officers from SVR Skopje went to the scene and measures are being taken to clear up the case, according to the Ministry of the Interior.
The Prosecutor's Office, on the other hand, gave us a short answer that the report was received and it is being acted upon.
As before we announced Yesterday, a major diversion took place at the Department of Bacteriology at the Institute of Public Health. The hygienist noticed that the huge room with refrigerators in which reagents for numerous microbiological tests of infectious and non-infectious diseases are stored - does not work, that is, the refrigerators are turned off. When the employees went to the fuses together with the management, they noticed that only those connected to the refrigerators in which the reagents are stored were lowered, that is, an attempt was made to turn off the entire chamber. Only those fuses with the help of which the temperature in the refrigerators was controlled - were lowered. There are no cameras near this part of the Institute.
Due to the timely detection of the event, numerous reagents have been prevented from failing, i.e. being ineffective due to failure to observe the temperature necessary for their maintenance.
In the refrigerators, according to information from "Sloboden Pechat", there were reagents for whooping cough, for urine culture, reagents that are used for tests that are ordered by numerous hospitals at the Institute of Public Health for their patients, and refer to all infectious and non-infectious diseases.
